G.J. was born and brought up in a rural setting on a fruit and arable farm in Kent – the garden of England. She still lives and works in southern England where fruit growing continues but on a more limited scale! When she is not working or writing, she can often be found in her garden; out in the countryside; sampling a traditional English afternoon tea or just curling up with her dogs and cats watching a good film.
